In this lesson, we are introduced to the evil Amalekite named Haman. Haman was the 2nd person in command in King Xerxes’ empire. Since Mordecai’s Jewish faith would not allow him to bow to Haman, a plan was set in motion to kill all the Jews throughout the empire. We close the lesson as Mordecai and Esther begin to respond in faith.
