What to Expect on Sunday Service

Our Worship Services begin every Sunday at 10:30am, and are usually over by noon. Before church begins, we offer coffee, tea, and refreshments in our community room. We begin our church service with some contemporary worship music played by our full band. Our team plays mostly modern worship music with some of the classics and hymns mixed in. Our congregation (or as we say… our Truth family) will make any newcomer feel welcome – right at home. There is a wonderful balance of church members of all ages. We have many young families with babies, toddlers and teens. And we have a large number of older members too. We begin our church service with everybody together in the sanctuary. About 25 minutes later, we dismiss our Sunday School children to their respective classes. Sunday School is separated into two classes. Kindergarten age and younger are in one class, while 1st through 5th graders go to another. For the adults, the sermon lessons are more educational in nature (Feel free to listed to an mp3 above for an example). We strongly believe in the importance of learning God’s Word and applying it to our lives. Please see our values and doctrinal beliefs on the home page for more information. And don’t hesitate to call and set up a time to meet with pastor Brian for any other questions.

Leading By Example 4 – Taking Responsibility

This teaching shows us how winners focus on winning and losers focus on winners. Cain killed his brother, Abel, because he didn’t want to give God his best but he didn’t want Abel’s sacrifice to make his look bad either. True believers in Christ take responsibility for their actions and move forward. Click the play button below to listen to

Part two of our series deals with honesty. Pastor Brian shares 3 keys to living an honest life. 1; Avoid using the “fine print”. 2; Protect people from the brutal truth when necessary. 3; Choose your daddy! Click the play button below to listen to this message.

Leading By Example 1 – Compassion

This lesson is the beginning of a series about being an accurate Christian example to the people around us. One way we represent Christ is by showing compassion. In Luke 10, Jesus teaches us to love our neighbor. He then explains how our “neighbor” is anyone truly in need – not just someone with our same background. Click the play
