The third Spring Festival in Jewish culture is the firstfruits offering to God. This was done on the day after the Sabbath during the Unleavened Bread celebration week. Here, the Jews would take the first and best crops and offer it to God. This offering was a symbol of a future harvest that would come later. 2000 years ago, Jesus rose from the grave on this day as the Firstfruits offering to God that would point the way for all of His followers after.
